Turn on the ClearAudio+™ function to enjoy audio with digital signal
processing technology effects.
1. From the Home menu, select
2. Select [Music Settings] - [ClearAudio+] - [On].
Note
[Sound Settings] is not applied if [ClearAudio+] is turned on. [Sound
Settings] is resumed when [ClearAudio+] is turned off.
The [Clear Phase™ ] setting cannot be changed in [Select
Headphones] when the [ClearAudio+] function is set to [On]. Set
[ClearAudio+] to [Off] before changing the setting.

Customizing sound quality settings
You can use various functions to set the desired sound quality.
1. From the Home menu, select
2. Select [Music Settings] - [Sound Settings] - desired function - desired
setting.
Equalizer function
You can set the sound quality according to the music genre. You can also
preset your equalizer settings as a custom setting.
VPT (Surround) function
You can set sound effects and enrich the sound reproduction quality of
the audio playback. VPT, which stands for Virtualphones Technology, is a
proprietary sound processing technology developed by Sony.
