Connecting the SCSI interface cable

Seagate's external DAT drives have two SCSI connectors to
allow daisy chaining, as shown in Figure 7. You can use
either connector to attach the drive to the host computer or to
another SCSI device.
Note: Turn off all power before connecting or
disconnecting SCSI cables or terminating plugs.
If the DAT drive is the last device or the only device in a
SCSI chain, you must install a terminating plug on the unused
SCSI connector. See Figure 8 on the following page for two
SCSI termination examples. You can purchase a terminating
plug from Seagate Express (Seagate part number
EXSATERM).
