GUIDE BAR
Turn the Guide Bar over, each time you sharpen or replace the chain. This will help prevent one
sided wear, especially at the nose & underside of the bar.
Regularly clean the bar, especially the chain groove.
CHAIN SPROCKET
After every second chain is replaced, the drive sprocket should also be replaced. To change the
drive sprocket, remove the small circlip from the driveshaft followed by the first of the two large
washers, drive sprocket and second large washer. If difficult to remove, try using a penetrating
lubricant. Reposition the replacement parts on the driveshaft and secure with the circlip.

STORAGE
For years of trouble free service, make sure the Multicutter is clean and dry before storing.
Remove any debris or grass from the cutting mechanism of all attachments.
Ensure the blade guards are fitted to the Hedge Cutter & Pruner blades.
Be careful not to hit or damage the fuel tank when putting the machine on the ground.
Store the machine in a dry, high or locked location, out of reach of children, away from sunlight or
in a protected area during severe weather and winter months.
If storing for an extended period of time, completely drain the fuel tank. Remove the spark plug
cover and spark plug. Place a few drops of 2-stroke oil into the cylinder, through the hole which
the spark plugs sits. Pull the recoil starter a few times to distribute oil around the cylinder. Refit
the spark plug, but not the Spark Plug cap. This action will protect the metal components with
the engine from rust.
