USAGE Charging the built-in lithium ba ery Make sure the built-in lithium ba ery has been fully charged before using your camera. To charge the ba ery: • Power OFF the camera. • Connect your camera from the USB Interface using the mini USB cable provided to a PC.
MicroSD Memory Card Make sure a MicroSD Memory card has been properly inserted into your camera (MicroSD Memory card not included). To properly insert the MicroSD Card: • Power OFF the camera. • Insert the MicroSD Card into the MicroSD Card slot in the direction as shown on the camera (see SD icon by the MicroSD card slot).
Power ON/Power OFF Power ON: Press the POWER button for 3 seconds - the display screen appears. The camera is now ON. Power OFF: Press the POWER button once - the display screen disappears. The camera is now OFF. Auto Power OFF: When the camera is left idle for more than 5 minutes, the camera will power OFF automatically to save energy.

USING THE FUNCTION MODES Three modes are available: Picture Still images can be taken Video Video can be recorded Vehicle-Mounted Continuous video can be recorded (one section every 5 minutes) NOTE: Use the Mode Switch after startup. Picture Mode: Switch the mode to ‘Picture’, press the Shutter Button or click the LCD centre once to take a photo.
Vehicle-Mounted mode: Switch the mode to ‘Vehicle-Mounted’, press the shutter button or click the LCD centre once to begin recording. A segment of recording will be saved every 5 minutes and then the next segment of video will start to record. When the storage card is full, the earliest segment of video will be deleted to release the corresponding space for continuous recording.
Connecting the camera to a computer Use the supplied USB cable to connect your camera to a computer. For Windows OS users: 1. Power the camcorder ON. 2. The first time you connect the device to the computer you may have to wait a few seconds until the computer recognises the device.
