A ir C onditioning System
The tem perature inside the vehicle

can be lowered by means o f the air

conditioning system. W hen tem per­
ature sw itch

is sw itched on, the
air is passed over an evaporator
I -
and is thus cooled and dehydrated
at the same time.
The air is circulated by a blower
and may be distributed according
to preference by means o f the
ventilation system controls.
The air conditioning system is oper­
ative only when the engine is run­
ning. High engine speed produces
a high refrigerant compressor
speed w hich in turn means in-
creased cooling.

cooling to recirculation air co ol­
ing w ith a small proportion of
fresh air.
The blow er (switch 1) m ust
then be sw itched on. W e re­
com m end selecting a higher
blow er speed fo r increased
cooling effect.
By pulling the tem perature
sw itch, cooled air can also be
supplied to the fo o tw e ll and to
the windshield.
Note:
In case o f dust and odor annoy­
ance from outside, turn tem pera­
ture sw itch to recirculation cooling
w ith a small proportion o f fresh air.
