BACKHOE LUBRICATION & MAINTENANCE SCHEDULE
MAINTENANCE
REQUIREMENT
Lubricate points as shown in Figure 19
with SAE multi-purpose grease.
Inspect hydraulic hoses for damage or
leaking.
Check hydraulic fluid level in reservoir or
tractor sump.
Remove large debris such as clumps of
dirt, grease etc.
Inspect and replace worn or damaged
parts.
Inspect and replace any safety decals
that are missing, or not readable.
Make sure that shields and guards are
properly installed and in good condition.
Make sure that all fasteners are installed
and are properly torqued.
Change oil and filter in backhoe reser-
voir, (if equipped).
Clean and thoroughly inspect painted
surfaces of machine.
Inspect pins and replaceable bearings.
Inspect all hydraulic components for
leaks or damage.
Inspect and replace any safety decals
that are missing, or not readable.
Inspect seat and attaching hardware
Inspect bucket teeth and replace as
needed.
Make sure that all fasteners are installed
and torqued properly.
Change oil and filter in backhoe reser-
voir, (if equipped).
Replace all hydraulic hoses.

NOTES
In very wet or dry conditions,
lubricate after every 4 hours of
operation.
Replace if hose is kinked or if
hose cover is cracked or
damaged.
Refer to PTO Pump Kit manual,
or tractor manual for fluid
specifications.
Safety decals are available at no
charge from your Woods dealer.
Fasteners in plastic materials only
need to be snug. Do not
overtighten. Do not over-tighten
capscrews used to retain pivot
pins.
