Rail Attachment: Attach the Inner Rail to the chassis by aligning the Shoulder Lugs with the keyholes in the Inner Rail and slide until the retaining clip has secured the Inner Rail to the server.
- Page 3 Installation Instructions Step 3a. Attach the rails to the rack: Insert the Rear Bracket into U-Space holes as shown at a slight angle. Then rotate into place. Rear Bracket Rotate Step 3b. Secure Rail to Rack: Insert front Bracket into U-space holes as shown. Rotate the rail so it comes together with the front Bracket.
- Page 4 Installation Instructions Step 4 (Optional). Secure Rail: Install (1) Flat Head Screw to inside of the rear rail to ensure rail can not unlatch. Right rail shown, repeat for left rail. 8-32 x .312 Flat Head Screw Note: This step is only required if rail is going to be installed in rack and transported without server installed.
