Start the engine, fully raise the left and right
decks, shut off the engine, remove the key, and
wait for all moving parts to stop.
Tensioning the Chains

At the front of the deck, tighten the outboard
serrated-flange nuts until the chains are
tensioned

Ensure that the deck shim (or feeler
gauge) contacts then pivot link.
Important:
Ensure that the upper and lower
serrated-flange nut pairs are adjusted evenly.

Thread the inboard serrated-flange nuts
