OPERATION
It
is essential,
however,
that
the
instruction manual

each instrument be

Adjustments.
It

sensitivity of
the measuring instruments. Proceed

Place the pick-up

band.
b) If the
automatic synchro-starter does
not
operate after a few seconds
playing,
check
that
the
speed of
rotation is
45 r.p.m. and switch
METER
RANGE
on
the
2603
to 10 mY.
Also check
that the pick-up under test
is in normal
condition.

should be selected in order to
obtain
a constant
reference
level.. With amplitude sensitive pick-ups such
as
piezoelectric devices or other
types
with
built in
equalizers,
the
positions

Curve 2 or Curve

should

for stereophonic recordings). With velocity sensitive pick-ups such
as electrodyna

devices,
the

gives
constant recorded velocity
