Charcoal filter

For recirculation mode, a charcoal filter
must be fitted in addition to the grease
filter. The charcoal filter is designed to
absorb cooking odours.
The charcoal filter is fitted in the top of
the cooker hood.
Fitting/replacing charcoal filters
 Take the charcoal filter out of its
packaging.
 Insert the charcoal filter into the
charcoal filter cassette.
The charcoal filter cassette is supplied
either ready installed or separately
with the cooker hood.
Follow the directions included on the
accompanying installation plan.
Cleaning and care
When to change the charcoal filter
 Replace the charcoal filter when it no
longer absorbs kitchen odours
effectively.
It should, however, be replaced at
least every 6 months.

Disposing of charcoal filters

 Used charcoal filters can be disposed
of with normal household waste.

Reactivatable charcoal filter

A reactivatable charcoal filter is
available for this cooker hood. It can be
used several times after being
reactivated in the oven.
 Please follow the operating
instructions supplied with the filter.

from your Miele dealer (see end of this
booklet for contact details).
The charcoal filters are listed under
„Technical data" at the end of this
booklet.
