    Procedure 1. A setup assistant appears when switching on the computer for the first time. Follow the instructions. 2. From Create a Computer Account, you can use marport for full name, account name and password. Disabling Automatic Updates You need to disable automatic updates because some applications installed on the computer may not be compatible with the latest versions of OS.

Using an Ethernet switch is only useful if you need to connect to both the NMEA multiplexer and the internet.

Configuring Networks This procedure applies only to technicians from Marport offices.     The message on the top of the page indicates the number of PRP (50) and NBTE (10) sensors that can be added to the system and if a TE SC sensor can be added. The M3 system is now an M5 system.

    About this task When you install an M3 system for the first time, the default version of the receiver firmware (Mx processor application) installed in the virtual machine needs to be updated with the latest version. Important: It is necessary to update the receiver firmware because latest versions fix issues and add new functionalities to the system.
