The Vector Start-It jumpstart system & 12 vol t DC power suppl y i s a compact, durabl e and

The START-IT system has an easy-to-read, seri e s of LED (light emitting diode) charge indi-
cators that show when the unit is fully charged or the level of charge in the battery.
charge l e vel can be vi e wed when the charge status button i s pressed. a 12 vol t DC cig-
arette lighter-type socket is provided for use with appliances that can operate from a
vehicle cigarette lighter. this allows maximum portability and utility when the Start-It is
used in remote locations.
For maximum convenience, the START-IT can be recharged from any standard 120 volt
AC or 12 vol t DC power source using the built-in 12 volt socket and the appropriate
charging/adapter cord. when depressed, the push for
status swi t ch wi l l show the battery 's power l e vel status (from l o w to ful l ) . the green l e d
full indicator illuminates when the unit is fully recharged. an on/off swi t ch operates the
built-in work/emergency light.

To avoid an explosion and/or the possibility of being splashed with battery acid:
• Never al l o w the red and bl a ck cl a mps to touch each other or a common metal obj e ct.
• Only attempt to jumpstart a vehi c l e or boat i n a wel l venti l a ted area.
• Al w ays connect the red (+) cl a mp to the posi t i v e (+) battery terminal first.
• Do not connect the bl a ck (-) cl a mp to the negati v e (-) battery terminal.
• Connect the black (-) clamp to a non-moving metal part on the engine.
CAUTIONS:
1. To avoi d possi b l e damage that may shorten the unit's working life, protect this unit from direct sunlight, direct
heat and/or moisture.
2. Thi s system i s desi g ned to be used onl y on boats or vehi c l e s wi t h 12 vol t dc battery systems.
3. Thi s system i s not desi g ned to be used as a repl a cement for a vehi c ul a r battery.
