- Page 4 3. Install grid strainers with plumbers putty. Assemble waste piping using Teflon tape and make-up connection. Before making up the supply connections, the supply lines must be flushed of all foreign material such as pipe dope, pipe chips, solder, sand, etc. VALVE RESTRICTIONS: 4A.
