Parameterisation
The parameters for the radio mode, as
Encryption type,
Sending interval,
Data telegram,
Meter property number (secondary address),
are pre-parameterised at the factory.
An adjustment can be parameterised by the service software
UltraAssist.
Warning: Changes in the data telegram or the trans-
mission rate affect your battery life.
Note: Detailed information for the parameterisation, as
well as starting and completing the transmission with the
service software can be found in the UltraAssist user
manual.
6.1
Select parameterisation mode
Note: The access to the parameterisation is in Loop 4.
Proceed as follows to start the parameterisation operation:
Hold the button several times long (for more than 3 s) until
appears on the LCD.
Press the button several times briefly (for less than 2 s)
until
appears on the LCD.
Press the button long (for more than 3 s).
Now the input mask is activated. The first input segment
starts to flash.
Enter the code.
Note: In order to gain access to the "Para menu", enter
the current meter date (DDMM).
Press the button long (for more than 3 s). An automatic
counter runs up from 0-9.
Release the button at the desired number.
Press the button briefly (for less than 2 s). The sequence
segment is selected.
The next digit blinks. Repeat the above steps for all digits.
With correct input appears a roll-menu which changes every
1.5 s the menu option.
6.2
Parameterisation
6.2.1 Activating the transmission in "Para-menu"
Proceed as follows to start the transmission:
Set the meter to the parameterisation mode (see 6.1).
When
is displayed on the LCD, press the button
briefly (for less than 2 s).
The transmission is activated and the LCD display will change
to
.
The meter starts with the regular sending of the data telegram
after about 1 minute.
6.2.2 Deactivating the transmission in "Para-menu"
Proceed as follows to complete the transmission:
Set the meter to the parameterisation mode (see 6.1).
When
is displayed on the LCD, press the button
briefly (for less than 2 s).
The transmission is deactivated and the LCD display will
change to

The meter stops with the regular sending of the data telegram

6.3
Completing parameterisation
