1. Safety Information
The housing of the meter shall not be opened.
Changes in the data telegram or the transmission rate
affect your battery life.
The meter sends no data telegram after delivery ex
factory. The transmission starts after the installation of
the meter.
2. Description of function
The wireless M-Bus function enables the meter to communi-
cate with a stationary (radio concentrator) or mobile unit
(handheld, smartphone) using 868 MHz radio frequency (unli-
censed). The function supports the OMS-compliant data trans-
fer.
The wireless M-Bus function is available in 2 versions:

with in the meter integrated antenna

with external antenna
3. OMS-compatible data output
The meter sends data telegrams acc. to the "open metering
system specification volume 2 primary communication issue
3.0.1 / 2011-01-29".
Note: The wireless M-Bus function supports only the T1
mode acc. to the EN 13757-4. Therefore, receiving data
telegrams, such as time synchronisation, is not possible.
The following data is available by default for the stationary data
reading (data telegram F000):

Current energy

Current volume

Current flowrate

Current power

Current flow and return temperature

Error (manufacturer specific)

Current timestamp (type I)
The following data are available by default for the mobile data
reading (data telegram F001):

Current energy

Current volume

Energy: previous month on reference date

Volume: previous month on reference date

Monthly reference date

Energy: previous year on reference date

Annual reference date

Error (manufacturer specific)


More data telegrams can be parameterised at the factory or
later with the service software UltraAssist.
Warning: Changes in the data telegram or the trans-
mission rate affect your battery life.
Note: Detailed information for the parameterisation with
the service software can be found in the UltraAssist user
manual.

After an accumulation of volume of at least 10 litres, the meter
starts the transmission automatically and starts with the regular
sending of the data telegram.
In addition, the following options are available to start the
