    5. UNIT OPERATION The unit is preset with factory default settings and will fulfill the basic needs for inverter-charger operation. Display is used to provide information about the unit status and the unit function can be customized through the Display. Once the unit function is customized, Display can be removed if desired, as the unit can run without the Display.

  • Page 15 Understanding the Display ICONs during Unit Operation Icon Meaning Solid: Unit is running as Charger and is charging the battery Solid: Unit is running in By-pass mode, AC Output is available from AC Input Source. - AC Output is available at both the AC Output socket and the AC Output Hardwire terminal if AC Output switch is turned On (indicated by AC Output indicator on the Display and the main unit being On).
  • Page 16 Understanding of Ignition Start ON/OFF function With the setting that required manual On/Off of the inverter, the ignition start port share the same function as the Power On/Off functions on the unit. Providing a +12V dc to the Ignition Start Port will turns on the inverter and removing the +12VDC to the port will turns Off the inverter.

  • Page 23 Flooded Battery Equalization Setting: Equalization setting can only be used on Flooded batteries. Before the equalization begins, the unit will automatically fully charge the battery first, followed by one hour of equalization. Check the battery electrolyte level during the equalization period. If necessary, refill with distilled water only. All cells should have similar electrolyte levels.
