Immediately remove the product from the steam sterilizer after the sterilization cycle is complete. Corrosion can occur from moisture
build up if left in the steam sterilizer.
The dental motor has a maximum temperature resistance of 138°C (280.4°F).
NOTE: The dental motor is autoclavable with two different validated methods:
1.
Three pre-vacuum cycles for at least 3.5 minutes at 134°C ± 1°C (273.2°F ± 33.8°F)
2.
Autoclave using the gravitation method for at least 90 minutes at 121°C ± 1°C (249.8°F ± 33.8°F)
Follow the autoclave manufacturer's Operators Manual for autoclaving
The drying time is at least 10 minutes.
The pre-vacuum is at least 20 kPa.
