Pairing fol-
The radio connection between two SmartSupply units is established and stored as a

Identify the SmartSupply with the broker (master) role (

Insert the charged battery into the battery connection of the SmartSupply variant
BAT or connect variant CAB to the power supply.
3.
Unscrew the M4 grub screw from the opening for the broker pairing procedure
(Fig. 2/4).

Insert a thin, cylindrical object (e.g. 2 mm Allen key) into the borehole and carefully
push it through to the end.
5.
Press the pushbutton at the end of the borehole lightly and hold it until the client
LED (Fig. 2/3) lights up and flashes in swift succession.
The LEDs go out again on both devices following successful pairing.
6.
Screw the M4 grub screw back into the opening for the pairing procedure until the
screw is flush with the housing.
Pairing with the SmartDisplay
The complete manual and all steps for pairing between the SmartSupply
and SmartDisplay can be found in the operating manual for the
SmartDisplay in the other applicable documents.
Pairing status upon delivery
Pairing was already carried out during initial commissioning at the manu-
facturer's premises and must only be repeated when a SmartSupply is
replaced.
The SmartSupply needs to be "paired" with the broker following replace-
ment of a client.
The SmartSupply needs to be "paired" with the client and the SmartDis-
play following replacement of a broker.
