TEST PROGRAM

1. Measuring Condition
The following measuring instruments/ jigs are required for testing the main unit.
Measuring instruments : Level meter (IHF-C curve)
NOTE 1: Input impedance should be 1M or more.
NOTE 2: Unless otherwise specified, connect 33 ohm load using a stereo plug and measure at
PHONES terminal.
Setting controls
MASTER VOLUME: Maximum
Tone
Pedal
Reverb
AUX IN, AUX OUT : Insert measuring plugs into all terminals. (10K ohm load)
Headphone terminal : Insert a measuring plug into either of the systems only. (33 ohm load for both L/R ch.)
2. Starting Test Program
While holding down the keyboards [C2#], [F2] and [G2#], turn on the POWER switch.
3. Carrying On Test
1. When the test program is started, "TST" is indicated on the LED display.
2. Select a test program item by pressing the [Tempo
3. Pressing the [Start/Stop] button gets the test started.
4. If the test result is OK, "PAS" is displayed.
5. Pressing the [Start/Stop] button again, the display returns to the item selection.
6. In case of NG, "nG" is displayed.
7. If the DEMO button is pressed in this case, the display returns to the item selection.

Test functions and judgement criteria
ROM version.
Displays ROM (P0.1,W0.1) versions alternately.
(P0.1 = PROGRAM Ver.0.1, W0.1=WAVE Ver.0.1)
Checks ROM.
Checks all ROMs connected to CPU's bus.
Checks that "PAS" is displayed.
Check RAM.
Checks all RAMs connected to CPU's bus.
Checks that "PAS" is displayed.
Checks ROM.
Checks WAVE ROM.Checks that "PAS" is displayed.
Checks sound source 1. (Auto scale)
Produces sine waves from a low tone in sequence while switching over
sound source tones in order.Checks that there are no excessive or
abnormal noises. When auto scaling is finished, sounds are produced by playing
the keyboard. (Monotone, first-come priority) Pressing the tone switch produces
sounds by that tone.
Checks sound source 2. (Auto scale)
