Figure 6-12: Sensor Test
Odometer Calibration
This test ensures that the odometer is calibrated properly for distance. Even though the
odometer is calibrated in the factory, you must calibrate it periodically to ensure accuracy. This
is particularly important as the calibration can change with different surface materials.
Choose a set distance from the screen, press Start and then move the system that exact
distance, using a measuring tape or other known distance indicator. Press Finish when you
have travelled that distance (Figure 6-13).

Upon completion, it displays the screen in Figure 6-14. The new calibration value is shown to
the right of the arrow in number 1. You can either accept the new value (by pressing '1' on the
