WiFi Settings

Connecting to a wireless network allows you to send a mini-report to someone by email. In
order to send reports to an email address there are 2 main steps required.
First, the user must establish a Gmail™ account online. This account is used as the account
that sends the message to the desired recipient. All mini-reports received by the recipient will
look like they are coming from this account. This account will contain all the SENT messages in
its sent box.
The second step is to connect to a wireless network. This connection gives you access to the
internet to connect to your Gmail account. This connection can be through a standard wireless
network or through a hotspot on your cell phone for connecting while in the field. Once you have
done this, you can input your Gmail account and password on the Display Unit.
If you are already connected to a WiFi network, the name of the network is listed beside the
WiFi Network field. Pressing the WiFi Settings button at the bottom of the screen takes you to a
sub-menu (Figure 6-4) for connecting and configuring WiFi settings, as well as setting up an
email address.
