Reference: Frame Wrapping and Wrapper Format

In the overview (Section 3) we mentioned that the RAD-Star encloses each message received
on its BroadR-Reach ports in a special wrapper frame before it is retransmitted to the
conventional Ethernet network. The wrapper allows additional timestamp information to be sent
with the message, enables the FCS field of the original frame to be captured, and ensures that
error frames are not discarded.
