Before taking your camera to the repair shop, check the following table for a
possible solution to the problem.

No power.
Power

not captured
when the

shutter button

Problem
The battery
pack is dead.
The battery
pack has not
been inserted
correctly.
The power
save function
is operating.
The power is
not turned on.
Cause
Recharge the
battery pack.
Reinsert the
battery pack,
making sure to
orient them
correctly.
Not a
malfunction.
Press the on/
off button to
turn the
camera on
before taking
pictures.
