    KYOCERA Corporation 1. はじめに Preface 6208 シリーズは、高密度実装化に対応すべく開発された、1mm ピッチ FPC/FFC 用の縦型 ZIF タイプコネ クタです。また、ZIF 構造のため、スライダーを操作することにより、FPC/FFC の挿抜が容易にできます。 Series 6208 is a 1mm-pitch, straight and ZIF type FPC/FFC Connector that was developed to meet the demand of higher density package. Owing to the ZIF structure, an FPC/FFC is inserted or removed easily by operating the slider.

    KYOCERA Corporation 3. 作業をはじめるにあたって To begin with 本 1mm ピッチ FPC コネクタは本来の機能を発揮させるために、適合 FPC,FFC を使用して以下の取扱い事項 に注意し作業を行って頂くことをお願いいたします。 In order for this 1mm-pitch FPC connector to fulfill its original perfromance, use them only with applicable FPC’s/FFC’s and care is needed in using them as shown below.

FPC/FFC 装着作業手順 Procedure for inserting FPC/FFC 挿入 Insertion 作業手順 作業方法 Step Description (1)スライダーを スライダーを図のように引き上げて下さい。 開ける。 一定の高さ（約 1.5mm）までしか上がりませんので硬くなったら、それ以上無理な力を 加えないように注意して下さい。 Open the slider. （注） トレー梱包の場合 スライダーは開放状態で納入されます。 エンボス梱包の場合 スライダーはロック状態で納入されます。 Pull up the slider in the direction shown by the arrow in the above figure. It moves up to 1.5mm approximately, and do not apply further stress once feeling a tug.

    KYOCERA Corporation 取り外し Removal 作業手順 作業方法 Step Description (4)スライダーを (1) と同じ作業でスライダーのロックは解除され、容易に FPC/FFC は矢印の方向に 開ける。 取り外すことが出来ます。 Open the slider. Unlock and open the slider as shown in Step (1), so that it is easy to remove the FPC/FFC in the direction shown by the arrow in the figure on the right.

    KYOCERA Corporation 5. 治具によるスライダー開放手順 Procedure for opening the slider by using the jig 作業手順 作業方法 Step Description (1)治具のセット スライダーがロックされた状態のコネクタに図のように治具をセットして下さい。 Set the jig.. その時、治具の先端がインシュレータの面と同等若しくはそれ以上飛び出ているか 確認して下さい。また、絵と逆の方向から治具を挿入しないよう注意して下さい。 （注） 治具のＷの領域の下は作業時の治具の支点となるため、他の部品又は、 破損し易いものがないことを確認して下さい。 Set the jig to the connector with its slider locked as shown in the figure on the right.

    KYOCERA Corporation 5-1. その他の注意事項 Other caution 5-1-1 治具の僅かな動き（30°）でスライダーは開放しますので、それ以上無理な力を加えないよう 注意して下さい。半田クラック、スライダー破損当の不具合の原因となります。 Since the slider is opened by a slight movement (30°) of the jig, do not apply any extra stress to the connector. Or solder cracks and/or slider breakage may be caused.
