Select [Manual setting] t
[Manual regist.].
Notes
• If the camcorder has 10 registered access points,
the message saying that no more access points
can be registered appears. Select [Delete], then
select unnecessary access points on the
displayed screen to delete them.

Input the SSID on the displayed
screen, then select [Next].

Select the security method.
When you select [WEP] or [WPA],
input your password on the displayed
screen, then select [Next].

Set the details of the access point.
IP address
Select the setting method of the IP
address.
If you select [Manual], input the setting
items for the IP address on the
displayed screen, then select [OK].
Priority Connection
Select whether the access point is
prioritized.
Tips
• If you select [DNS server setting] on the IP
address setting screen, the DNS server setting
screen appears.

Select [Register].
• Connection to the access point starts.
• When [Registered.] is displayed, the
registration of the access point is
complete. The SSID of the registered
access point is also displayed.

• When you attach or remove the VMC-UAM2 or
USB-RJ45 adaptor, turn off the camcorder.

Attach the VMC-UAM2 (sold
separately) to the Multi/Micro
USB jack of the camcorder.

Attach the USB-RJ45 adaptor to
the VMC-UAM2 and connect with
a LAN cable.

Press the MENU button.
