    ® 5000/6000 Series I Introduction Manual objectives The purpose of this manual is to provide the user with the necessary information to install, program and start up the Danfoss VLT 5300-5500 and VLT 6350-6550 frequency converters. This manual should be read thoroughly before operating, servic- ing or initializing the drives.

Door and ceiling clearances must be considered when moving and installing the VLT frequency con- verter.

It is important to keep the motor cable as short as possible so as to reduce the noise level and leakage currents to a minimum.
