12. Starter Button

Depress and hold the starter button to start engine. Release
it as soon as the engine starts. Do not depress the starter button for more than
ten seconds at a time. NOTE: Lanyard and lock plate must be attached to the
engine stop switch or engine will not start.
13. Choke Knob- The choke is used to help in starting acold engine. It is not to be
used when starting a warm engine.
14. Throttle
-
Controls the speed of the watercraft. When squeezed, the engine
accelerates; when fully released the engine returns to an idle.
15. Engine Stop Button -The red engine stop button on the left handlebar will
stop the engine when necessary. The engine stop button is a component of
the engine stop switch. Press to stop the engine.
16. Engine Stop Switch -The lock plate end of the lanyard cord is attached to the
engine stop switch on the left handlebar.
