3.2. Initialisation

Once the telephone line is connected, the door
intercom starts initialisation. During the initial-
isation the telephone line will be busy, and a
high-pitched tone will be sent. Afterwards, the
door intercom will hang up and will be ready for
set-up.
In case the device produces regular tone
sequences, call the beeps and consult the basic
electronics manual to check the possible fault.

Start set-up mode by entering *0000 and then
enter the following parameters:

Press the * key to end set-up mode. The set-up
can also be performed with an analogue tele-
phone with DTMF dialling. Please see the basic
electronics manual.

3.4. Recorded messages

The door intercom can play recorded messages
when a call button is pressed. You will have
to record these messages previously. Use the
configurations step 51-58 as described in the
technical user manual. Please find a couple of
examples for these messages below:
1 ▸ Establishing connection.
2 ▸ Please wait.
3 ▸ Connection established.
4 ▸ The door will open.
5 ▸ Please enter the code and confirm your
entry with the # key.
6 ▸ This is a call from your door intercom. Please
enter zero pound to open the door.
