Final installation
Preparations – element
1. Remove inspection cover if necessary.
2. Remove structural shell protection (C), see fold-out page II,
Fig. [2].
3. Screw urinal connector (C1) into elbow union.
Installing sensor in element
1. Loosen screw (D1) and push sensor bracket (D)
downwards, see Fig. [3].
2. Push sensor (E) under tab (D2) on sensor bracket (D) at the
top and engage at the bottom, see Fig. [4].
3. Route sensor cable (E1) downwards in direction
of inspection aperture.
4. Push sensor bracket (D) upwards and fasten
with screw (D1), see Fig. [3].
Preparations – wall mounting box
1. Cut off structural shell protection (C2) of control box flush
with the wall, see Fig. [5].
2. Cut an aperture in cover.
3. Remove screws and cut off structural shell protection (C3)
of wall mounting box flush with the wall.
Installing sensor in wall mounting box
1. Fit sensor (E) in sensor box, see Fig. [6].
2. Fasten sensor with retaining tabs (K).
3. Route sensor cable (E1) through tube (L)
to wall mounting box.
Installing urinal
Open isolating valve (B), see Fig. [8].
Flush pipes thoroughly.
Close isolating valve (B).
Install solenoid valve
1. Replace spacer (F) with solenoid valve (G), paying attention
to flow direction, see Fig. [7].
2. Insert seals (G1).
Installing transformer and electronic module
1. Detach protection and fit upper part (H) of transformer
to base (H1), see Fig. [9].
2. Fit electronic module (A) onto bracket.
3. Close isolating valve (B), see fold-out page II, Fig. [2].
4. Connect plug-in connector (A3) between electronic
module (A) and solenoid valve (G), see Fig. [10].
5. Connect sensor cable (E1) to connecting cable
of electronics module (A).
6. Connect upper part (H) of transformer to the electronics
module (A).
7. Position detection is started:
- The display alternately indicates P and E.
- The system initiates flushing 3 times for approx. 1 s and
checks whether water is flowing in the detection zone.
8. After detection of the position, a main flush is carried out.
Setting mode is activated.
When the settings are correct, fit the inspection cover.
Making settings
Setting mode
In setting mode, the flow volume (see Setting the flow volume)
and detection zone (see Setting the range) can be checked
and modified. The counter can also be reset, see Resetting
counter.
Position detection is limited to 25 voltage interrupts in the
electronics module. After the 26th voltage interrupt, position
detection is no longer performed.
For position detection to be reactivated, the counter must
be reset, see Resetting counter
It is also possible to set the flow volume and detection zone
via the optional remote control.
Setting mode is activated as follows:
1. Remove the inspection cover.
2. Disconnect the power supply to the electronic module (A)
and reconnect after 10 s, see Fig. [11].
3. Position detection is started:
- The display alternately indicates P and E.
- The system initiates flushing 3 times for approx. 1 s.
4. After detection of the position, a main flush is carried out.
The indicator lamp (A4) in the electronic module (A) flashes,
setting mode is activated, see fold-out page III, Fig. [12].
Setting mode is automatically terminated after 3 min if no
setting is made.
5. Press on the flashing indicator lamp (A4) in the electronic
module. The indicator lamp (A1) in the display (A2) of the
electronic module illuminates.
6. Press again on the flashing indicator lamp (A4) in the
electronic module.
Flow volume setting mode is activated. The display (A2)
runs from top to bottom for 5 s.
During this time, it is possible to switch to the range setting
mode by pressing the flashing indicator lamp (A4) again.
In the range setting mode the display (A2) runs from right
to left for 5 s. It is now again possible to switch to the other
mode.
Following 5 s without a mode change, either the flow volume
set or the range set is displayed, depending on the activated
setting mode.
Setting the flow volume
The factory-set flow volume is approx. 3 l at a flow pressure
of 3 bar.
The flow volume can be changed as follows:
1. Select flow volume setting mode.
2. The flow volume can be increased by pressing on the
flashing indicator lamp (A4), see Fig. [12].
After the flow volume of 7 l, the volume returns to 1 l again.
3. The flow volume displayed is saved if no change is made
within 10 s.
One flush is performed at the set flow volume. The display
extinguishes, and the setting mode is terminated.
