- Page 3 SPC200-SCU-AIF Benutzerhinweise Die Subcontroller-Baugruppe Typ SPC200-SCU-AIF dient be- stimmungsgemäß als Baugruppe für den Smart Positioning Controller SPC200. Die Baugruppe stellt einen Anschluß für ei- nen zweiten Achsinterface-Strang mit maximal 2 pneumatischen Achsen zur Verfügung. Damit kann der SPC200 auf maximal 4 Pneumatische Achsen erweitert werden.
- Page 4 SPC200-SCU-AIF Ein- und Ausbau von Baugruppen VORSICHT: Unsachgemäße Handhabung kann zur Beschädigung der Baugruppen führen. • Berühren Sie keine Bauelemente. • Beachten Sie die Handhabungsvorschriften für elektro- statisch gefährdete Bauelemente. • Entladen Sie sich vor dem Ein- oder Ausbau von Bau- gruppen elektrostatisch, zum Schutz der Baugruppen vor Entladung statischer Elektrizität.

Baugruppe an der Frontplatte fassen und in die Führungs- schiene einschieben. Achten Sie darauf, daß Sie die Bau- gruppe beim Einschieben nicht verkanten und keine Bauteile auf der Leiterplatte beschädigt werden.

It provides a connection for a second axis interface string with maximum 2 pneumatic axes. In this way the SPC200 can be extended to control maximum 4 pneumatic axes.
- Page 10 SPC200-SCU-AIF Fitting and removing the modules CAUTION Modules can be damaged by incorrect handling. • Do not touch any of the components. • Observe the regulations for handling components which are affected by electrostatic charges. • Discharge yourself electrostatically before fitting or removing modules, in order to protect the components against discharges of static electricity.
- Page 11 SPC200-SCU-AIF Fitting the subcontroller module 1. Switch off the compressed air supply and the operating volt- age. 2. Grasp the module by the front plate and push it into the guide rail. Be careful not to tilt the module when sliding it into the slot and make sure that none of the components on the printed circuit board are damaged.
- Page 12 SPC200-SCU-AIF Installation CAUTION Use the special cable from Festo (type KSPC-AIF-...) for con- necting the axis interface. Please refer to the SPC200 user manual for details of permitted cable lengths for connecting the axis interface string. In this way you can avoid malfunctioning of the SPC200 and of the modules connected on the axis interface string.
