Tool Required
9/16" socket wrench
6mm Allen socket wrench
13mm open wrench
5/8" open wrench
NOTE: We highly recommend using a medium
strength thread lock product, such as Loctite®, on
all of the bolts when installing your Corbin Beetle
Bags.
1. Remove the two stock bolts and nuts on the
chrome fender rail using a 6mm Allen wrench.
2. Replace the fender rail bolts with the supplied
stainless steel studs (long stud in the front, short
stud in the back), flat washers and stock nut.
Tighten to 10 ft. lbs. (Figure 1)
3. Remove the pin and c-clip on the passenger
foot peg and install foot peg onto the Corbin
bracket using the stock pin and c-clip
(Figures 2 & 3).
NOTE: The stock foot peg mounting bracket can
be adjusted to help make the Corbin bracket line
up as needed. Please refer to your owner's
manual for access to the bolts under the chassis
side cover. (Figure 3)
CAUTION: There is a small metal ball bearing
and spring that will want to spring out once the pin
is removed. Do not lose these parts as you will
be reusing them again.
