Tools Required
10mm Socket wrench
10mm Open wrench
1/2" or 7/16" Socket wrench
7/32" Allen Key
NOTE: We recommend the use of Loctite® or
other threadlock compound when assembling
parts on your motorcycle.
1. Remove your stock seat. See owner's manual
if necessary.
2. Remove the bolt that holds the fender to the
chassis, using a 7/32" Allen wrench. (Figure 1)
3. Remove the latch pin, using a 1/2" or 7/16"
socket wrench (Figure 2).
4. Install the Corbin latch plate by first putting on
the supplied flat washer where the latch pin was
(Figure 3), then place the bracket on top and
secure with the stock bolt on the fender
(Figure 4). Do not tighten yet.
5. Place the supplied flat washer and nylock nut
on the stud (Figure 5).
6. Pull the bracket towards you and tighten the
nylock nut with a 10mm socket wrench (Figure 6).
7. Go back and tighten the stock bolt on the
fender.
8. Slide front seat in place where you removed
the stock seat and secure with the stock plastic
clip (Figure 7).
