SAFETY CABLE INSTALLATION WARNING: The safety cable is a crucial part of the fan and must be installed correctly. 1. Secure to fan Attach one end of safety cable to screw-locking carabiner. Attach carabiner to fan’s rear guard, and tighten screw to secure. - Page 8 SPEED AND TIMER CONTROLLER Note: Secure cord retainer to plug before attaching controller to motor cable. Adjust Speed and Timer To adjust fan speed, press the buttons on the Speed panel. To adjust timer settings, press the buttons on the Hours panel. To set the maximum fan speed, select your preferred speed, and then press and hold the Speed buttons simultaneously for three seconds.
