1. 9V DC Input Jack Please connect to this jack when using a 9V DC adapter (35 mA minimum, not provided) to supply the tuner. The tuner will auto-power-on when a DC adapter is connected, and the inside battery supply will be cut off at the same time. 2. 9V DC Output Jack A same electric supply can be obtained from the 9V DC output jack when an adapter is connected to the tuner, for the use of other devices.

When audio signal is inputted and ready for outputting: a) If the tuner is ON, no audio signal will be available from this jack. b) If the tuner is OFF, audio signal will be available from this jack. (Please use this connection, if you don‘t need sound when tuning your instrument). 5. Bypass Output Jack This is another jack for the connection of effects products or amplifiers. The output of this jack is not affected by the ON/OFF state of the tuner. (Please use this connection, if you need sound when tuning your instrument). 6. Pedal Switch Stomp this switch to turn on/off the tuner, and turn on/off the output of audio signals from “OUTPUT” at the same time. The tuner will auto-power-off, if no audio signal is detected within 3 minutes.

The sequence of tuning mode: When you‘ve selected the desired tuning mode, the indicator light will start to flicker in 2 seconds indicating entering tuning state. When you‘ve powered off the tuner after using, the tuning mode will be back to Chromatic mode when the tuner is powered on next time. 8 “A4” adjusting key Repeatedly pressing the “CENT” key to adjust the base frequency within the range from 435 to 445Hz. The corresponding value will be shown in the display.

Tuner operation 1. Powering on. a) When using an adapter the tuner will auto-power-on when the 9V DC input jack is connected with the adapter. b) When using battery the tuner will auto-power-on when the “INPUT” jack is connected with an audio signal cable. • When the tuner is powered on, the display and panel will show the default state for 3 seconds.
