Overview ATEN VE2812AT is a transmitter for sending VGA (with audio) and HDMI signals up to 100 m over a single Cat 5e/6/6a or ATEN 2L-2910 Cat 6 cable. Featuring built-in PoH (Power over HDBaseT) function, the VE2812AT receives power supply from the HDBaseT output port on the connected device. This eliminates the need for a power adapter and reduces the hassel of power line deployment behind the wall.

4. (Optional) To receive IR signals to remotely control a device (e.g. blu-ray disc) connected to the video receiver, connect an IR emitter to the VE2812AT’s IR Port and an IR receiver to the VE2812R’s IR Port or vice versa.

HDMI and VGA inputs are (LED lights orange) plugged in at the same time. After power on, the VE2812AT prioritizes the latest detected input source transmission to the connected receiver. Note: You can disable this part of the Auto Switch mode (automatic input switching) using an RS-232 command.
