2. Remove the battery. To do this, press and hold the latch
D
toward the front of the system unit while removing the battery.
Note: If you are removing your password, wait for at least 20
minutes to erase the memory containing your password before
installing the battery.
3. Install the battery. To do this, press and hold the latch
D
toward the front of the system unit while installing the battery.
4. Install the cover (see page 22), then plug in all cords and cables.
5. Start the backup copy of the Reference Diskette (see page 14) and
follow the instructions on the screen to run automatic
configuration. (See "Set configuration" on page 12 for more
information.)
If you previously backed up the configuration, display the Main
Menu of the Reference Diskette and select "Set configuration"
then "Restore configuration"and follow the instructions to restore
your original configuration. (See "Restore configuration" on
page 13 for more information.)
