Knee supports retain damaged tissue structures (joints, ligaments, capsules and
cartilage). Here, the compression supports the retaining function of the liga­
ments, thus relieving the joint. At the same time, the BORT Generation knee
support helps to avoid incorrect movement to a large extent.

Fitting instructions:

Finally, check the fit and correct positioning of the knee support, so that the sup­
port supports and compresses but doesn't constrict.

Open the velour fastening on the thigh part of the knee
support.
The Generation Knee support Plus ( REF 114 490 G) has
an additional circumferential harness, please also open it.
If required, the harness can be unthreaded. The joint straps
should always be located on the outer side of the leg.
Pull the knee support as far as possible over the knee using
the dressing aid (finger pads on the thigh velour) so that the
silicone pad encloses the kneecap.
Then close the knee support on the thigh again using the
velour straps.
The Generation Knee support Plus ( REF 114 490 G) has an
additional circumferential harness, please also thread and fix
it using the guide loops. The joint straps should always be
located on the outer side of the leg.
