IC-F300/F400 SERIES PC BOARD MODIFICATION
The trunking unit may be installed to IC-F320S and
IC-F420S, however, we do not recommend this due
to channel capacity.
D IC-F300 and IC-F400 series instructions
q Turn power OFF, then disconnect the DC power
cable.
w Unscrew the 4 screws, then remove the bottom
cover.
e Unscrew the 2 screws, then remove the front panel.
r Unscrew the 3 screws and remove the flat cable,
then remove the FRONT unit.
D FRONT and MAIN units modification
Connect 2 points with a jumper wire as shown below.
• FRONT unit
• MAIN unit
t For the IC-F400 series transceiver, connect 2 points
y Connect JP2 on the UT-111 by soldering as shown
u When using the UT-111 with IC-F410/S or
i Plug the UT-111 to J2 (IC-F300 series) or J4
o Reassemble the transceiver.
