INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
TOYOTA CAMRY 2005 -
Hardware Kit
3 – Large Bumpons
6 – 3M Anti-Abrasion Film Pads
6 – Black "C" Clips
6 – # 6 x 3/8" Screws
6 – # 4 x 3/16" Screws

Installation

1. Be sure that the hood is clean and dry inside and out. Release the hood, but do not open it.
2. Install one (1) bumpon, in the middle of the hood, 1" back from the edge of the hood. Install remaining two (2) bumpons, 4
from the edge of the hood. See Illustration # 1.
3. Center the protector on the hood; attach the anti-abrasion film pads under the middle hole on each side as shown in the illustration # 2.
Make sure to cover at least ½" of underside of the hood. See Illustrations # 3.
4. Slide the "C" clips over the edge of the hood in line with the middle holes in the protector. Be sure that the "C" clips are well seated
against the hood: it may be necessary to tap on the clips. Tighten a # 6 x 3/8" screw through the protector into the top of each clip. Do
not over tighten the screws. See Illustration # 3.
5. Make sure that the protector is centered on the hood then repeat steps 3 & 4 for the each of remaining holes.
6. Make sure the "C" clips are all fully seated and the protector is centered then tighten a # 4 x 3/16" screw into the bottom of each of the
"C" clips. Do not over tighten the screws. See Illustration #3.
Note: Do not pull on the protector when opening or closing the hood.

Care Instructions

Clean the protector with a mild soap and water solution or plastic cleaner only. Do not use chemicals or solvents.
Periodically check to make sure the bumpon is in place and the protector is secure.
Avoid using automatic car washes. Do not pull on the protector when opening or closing the hood.
