PROBLEM
Intermittent output
Stimulation is ineffective.
The skin becomes
red and/or you feel
a stabbing pain.

POSSIBLE CAUSES
Lead wire
Improper electrode placement.
Unknown
Using electrodes on the same site every
time.
Electrodes are not adhered to the skin
properly.
The electrodes are dirty.
The surface of the electrode is scratched.
POSSIBLE SOLUTION
Verify connection is secure. Insert wire firmly.
Turn down the intensity. Rotate lead wire in socket 90°. If still
intermittent, replace lead wire.
If still intermittent after replacing lead wire, a component may
have failed. Call
the repair department.
Reposition electrode.
Contact clinician.
Using electrodes on the same site every time.
Ensure the electrodes are securely adhered to the skin.
Clean the electrodes according to description in this manual or
replace with
new electrodes.
Replace with new electrodes.
