Note
f The elapsed time or the remaining time is displayed at the lower right of the projected image when using the presentation timer function.
f The count will be resumed from interruption when the <P-TIMER> button is pressed.
f The presentation timer function will be terminated by pressing the <P-TIMER> button for over three seconds.
f For details about the setting of the presentation timer function, refer to the [DISPLAY OPTION] menu → [P-TIMER]. (x page 80)
Using the FUNCTION button
Some frequently used menu items can be assigned to the <FUNCTION> button on the remote control so that it
can be used as an shortcut button.

Press the <FUNCTION> button.
Assigning functions to the <FUNCTION> button
1)
Press the <MENU> button to display the menu items (main menu, sub menu, or details menu) to be
assigned.
f Refer to "Navigating through the menu" (x page 59) for the operation of the menu.

Press and hold the <FUNCTION> button for three seconds or more.

f After the setting, the assigned menu items will be displayed as [ASSIGNED FUNCTION] in the operation guide under the menu.
f To cancel the function assignment, use the [PROJECTOR SETUP] menu → [FUNCTION BUTTON]. (x page 88)
Displaying internal test pattern
To confirm the status of the projector, ten types of internal test patterns can be displayed. To display test patterns,
perform the following steps.

Press the <TEST PATTERN> button.
2)
Press qw to select the test pattern.

f Setting is also available from the [PROJECTOR SETUP] menu → [TEST PATTERN]. (x page 90)
f Settings of position, size, and other factors will not be reflected in test patterns. Make sure to display the input signal before performing
various adjustments.
Using the status function
Display the status of the projector.

Press the <STATUS> button.
f The [STATUS] screen is displayed.
