Fill in the pressure cooker only up to 2/3 of the content.
When cooking meals such as pulses, soups, rice, stewed fruits etc. only fill
the pot up to the half because these meals produce foam. Clean the pressure
regulator (3) and the overpressure valve (2) after each use under running
water.
When cooking mushy or viscous meals such as mash, stew etc. shake the
pod lightly before opening. That way remaining steam can emit and you avoid
food splashing after opening the lid.
When cooking apple juice, see-weed, wheat, beans, rice etc. please note that
these meals increase in volume. Only fill the pot up to ¼ of the content.
Use high pressure setting when cooking meat, legumes, cabbage varieties
and potatoes and use low pressure setting when cooking vegetables, spin-
ach, asparagus, paprika, aubergine, courgette etc. or for all corn varieties
such as wheat, oat, rice etc.
When cooking ox/pig tongue or chicken with skin please note that the skin
can burst after penetrating.
Do not store meals in the pressure cooker for long time. Avoid storing salty,
sweet and acid ingredients in the pressure cooker. Do not cook water for long
time in the pressure cooker.
You do not need to thaw frozen vegetables. Prolong the cooking time for
some minutes.
