4.
Turn the lid to the left until the lid handle (1) and
the pot handle (7) are aligned. Please note that
the lid is not engaged. The lid can be opened at
any time. As soon as the pressure cooker is
heated up and the overpressure valve (2) lightly
lifts up, than the lid is closed and can only be
opened after evaporating the steam.
Make sure the lid is closed properly before heat-
ing up the pressure cooker!
5.
According to the ingredients you want to cook, set the pressure regulator (3)
for high pressure to the setting 90 kPa or for less pressure to the setting
60 kPa. Please also read the below chapter "Hints" and notes the cooking
times index.
6.
First set the heat source to high temperature in order to increase pressure
more rapidly. During cooking process, less steam evaporates through the
overpressure valve (2). That is normal. After the overpressure valve (2)
lightly lifts up and steam comes out continuously through the pressure regu-
lator (3), diminish the heat source to a minimum. From this time the cooking
time is measured.
7.
After cooking is done, take the pressure cooker from the
heat source. Always grasp the handles of the pressure
cooker to move it. Never touch hot surfaces. There is
risk of burns!
8.
Move the pressure cooker slowly. To cook more
energy-saving, lower the cooking time to 1/3 and switch
off the heat source. Leave the pressure cooker on the
heat source to use remaining heat for cooking.
9.
To open the pressure cooker, wait until no pressure is
inside the pot (let cool down) or turn the pressure regu-
lator (3) carefully in direction 0 and let steam evaporate
completely.
10. Open the lid. Never force the lid when opening. Please note that the meal is
very hot, respectively still boiling.
