    Transition Networks General description Overview The SDSFE31xx-100 Industrial Device Server features complete Ethernet and TCP/IP network support that allows devices in industry with RS-232 connectors, (milling machines, measurement instruments, and robots) to connect to LAN-based automation.     Transition Networks Connecting power to the Device Server Redundant Dual (redundant) power inputs can be connected simultaneously to live DC power power sources. See Figure 6. If one power source fails, the other live source acts as a backup, and automatically supplies the Device Server with power.
