Message Waiting

All telephones have a standard MW/FL LED for receiving/retrieving messages left by
callers that called a [PDN] that was busy or did not answer. Telephones that own
[PhDNs] can also have up to four additional (flexible) message waiting [PhDN/MW]
buttons and LEDs. The fourth message waiting button is reserved for the Message
Center.
The MW/FL LED at the called station flashes to notify you that someone called while
you were busy on another call or away from your office. You can call the other party
back by pressing the
message waiting indications.
If you have an LCD telephone, up to four message waiting
displays may be stored on the LCD per each [DN]. The LCD
can show up to three stations that have left messages for your
[PDN] and three for each of your [PhDNs]. The fourth message waiting button is
reserved for the Message Center.
To answer a Message Waiting on your [PDN]
1. Press
the handset.
