EVO Is designed to function with the original base bar and spacers provided with your 2018 Canyon Speedmax CF SLX TT. Your Canyon Speedmax is supplied with a variety of spacers to allow you achieve the perfect fit when combined with the EVO ecosystem. As the EVO clamps sit high on the assembly, you may find you need to reduce the height of your spacer stack to achieve optimal fit.

You have been provided with a Canyon-specific Clamp Adapter assembly. This is designed to replace the OEM clamp assembly on your 2018 Speedmax. Place the EVO Clamp Adapter on top of your OEM Canyon spacers, ensuring that the pieces key fit together correctly.

When cut to the correct length and height, secure the extensions in the extension clamps with the two grub screws provided (pre-inserted into the clamps). We recommend the application of a light textured carbon paste between the extension and the inside of the clamp to ensure a secure fit.

Ensure that you run your electronic wires out the back of the clamp and down your spacer stack without pinching. Thanks to the connection at the shifter, you can run the Di2 wires up the back of the spacer stack and into the clamp during assembly, leaving sufficient length to connect the shifters as a final step.

For riders seeking a UCI-compliant position, Low Rise 3D Extensions can be trimmed to achieve the desired length and height. Low Rise 3D extensions are designed to be capable of providing 100 mm of height gain, measured from the centre of the arm cup pad, to the top edge of the shifter body.
