EVO Is designed to function with the original base bar and spacers provided with your Shiv Tri Disc. Your Shiv is supplied with a variety of spacers to allow you achieve the perfect fit when combined with the EVO ecosystem. As the EVO Clamp Adapter, Carbon Plate and EVO Extension Clamps are the equivalent of a single 40 mm spacer, this will need to be removed from your central column, in order to achieve the same pad stack setting.

You have been provided with a Shiv-specific EVO Clamp Adapter. This is designed to replace the OEM upper assembly on your Shiv Tri Disc. Please note, with no stack spacers used, the minimum stud length is 30 mm (Clamp Adapter only). Place the EVO Clamp Adapter on top of your OEM Shiv base bar, and any additional spacers you may require.

The 10 mm EVO Carbon Plate provides a stable base for the mounting of the EVO Extension Clamps. Ensure that you run your electronic wiring through the grooves in the Clamp Adapter assembly prior to clamping of the EVO Carbon Plate. The assembly requires 4 x 20 mm countersunk screws in the center of the plate and 4 x 14 mm countersunk screws for additional support.

You have been provided with a set of Specialized Shiv Tri Disc EVO Extension Clamps. Do not attempt to install the Specialized-specific EVO Clamp on a bike other than a Specialized Shiv Tri Disc. We recommend the application of MOTOREX Bike Grease for the clamp bolts.

When cut to the correct length and height, secure the extensions in the EVO Extension Clamps with the two grub screws provided (pre- inserted into the clamps). We recommend the application of a light textured assembly paste (carbon paste) between the extension and the inside of the clamp to ensure a secure fit.

Ensure that you run your electronic wires through the central column of components prior to final fixation with the EVO Extension Clamp. Thanks to the connection at the shifter, you can run the Di2 wires through the ecosystem during assembly, leaving sufficient length to connect the shifters as a final step.
