    User instructions About this operating manual This operating manual is an integral part of the control unit QUANTRON-A. The operating manual contains important information for safe, appropriate and economic use and maintenance of the control unit. Compliance with its stipula- tions helps to avoid risks, reduce repair costs and downtimes and increase the reliability and service life of the machine.

    Operation QUANTRON-A 4.6.1 Application rate In this menu, you can enter the target value for the desired application rate. Entering the application rate: 1. Open the menu Fertiliser settings > Appl. rate (kg/ha).  The display shows the currently active application rate.

    Operation QUANTRON-A 4.6.6 Calibration test NOTICE The Calibration menu is locked for the M EMC function and in AUTO km/h + AUTO kg operating mode. This menu item is inactive. In this menu, the flow factor is determined based on a calibration test and saved in the control unit.

NOTICE The selection of a fertiliser chart has an effect on the fertiliser settings, the control unit and the mineral fertiliser spreader. The set application rate is overwritten by the stored value from the fertiliser chart.

    Fill only half of the machine, if possible.  Calling up the speed settings: In the QUANTRON-A control unit, you can save up to four different profiles for the type and number of pulses. You can assign names to these profiles (e.g. tractor name).

The base (100%) is the preset value for the opening of the metering slider. NOTICE During operation, you can use the F2/F3 function keys to change the application rate by the factor of +/- application rate at any time.

    Operation QUANTRON-A 4.7.5 Easy Toggle (AXIS only) Here you can limit the toggle function of the L% / R% key to two states of the func- tion keys F1 to F4. By doing so, you can avoid unnecessary toggling action on the operating screen.

    Fast emptying menu. Before storing the machine, we recommend completely opening the metering sliders by means of fast emptying and switching off the QUANTRON-A in this state. This prevents accumulation of moisture in the hopper.
