    About Your USC 5030 The Cisco USC 5030 chassis is uniquely designed to hold either one or two Cisco USC enterprise licensed small cell modules. Currently installation of one small cell module is supported. For a 3G enterprise solution, it is populated with the Cisco USC 5310 (Band 1 or Band 2/5).
  • Page 3 Install a USC 5310 small cell module into the USC 5030: a) Align the module connector with the port connector on the back of the USC 5030 and click the module into place. b) Screw down the thumb screws on the module.
  • Page 4 Step 3 Connect one end of the network cable to the USC 5030 Ethernet port and the other end to your broadband router or cable modem. Step 4 Connect the power adapter to the power port and to an AC power source.

  • Page 6 Verify Your Small Cell Module Installation After the USC 5310 module is installed in the USC 5030 chassis and powered up, it takes approximately ten minutes for the module to initialize, download any necessary software and configuration information, configure the radio frequency (RF) parameters, and come into service.
