WARNING
●
Do not carry out any maintenance measures, while the machine is run‐
ning.
●
Switch off the control device and the machine and wait for the discharg‐
ing time of the electric systems to elapse before you start with trouble‐
shooting.
●
While carrying out maintenance work, secure the machine such that it
cannot restart or be used by unauthorized persons.
●
Do not work on hot surfaces.
The possible caused for malfunctions on Indra Dyn E motors can be limited
to the following areas:
●
motor fan function and temperature behavior
●
internal temperature sensor
●
mechanical damage of the motor
●
mechanical connection to the machine
In the following, some failure conditions with potential causes are exemplarily
explained. This list does not claim to be complete.
Observe the notes regarding troubleshooting on the motor fan under

The housing temperature on the motor rises to unusual high values.

Breakdown or malfunction within ventilation or cooling system

Original machining cycle was changed

Original motor parameters were changed

Motor bearing worn or defective

Check fan function. Cleaning on demand. In the case of breakdown con‐
tact Bosch Rexroth Service.

Check drive dimension for changed demands. In the case of overload
do not operate any longer. Danger of damage!

Rebuild original parameterization. Check the drive dimension in the
case of changed demands
